About the company:
The Miskhor-Pine Bor-Ai-Petri cable car connects the Ai-Petri and Miskhor plateaus. It was built in 1967. Its length is 2,980 meters.
The first passengers of the road were members of the acceptance committee in 1987, and a year later the cable car was officially opened. It has three stations: Miskhor, Sosnovy Bor and Ai-Petri (the latter reaches 1,152 meters above sea level). People rise in the pine forest of the Yalta reserve. The passenger cabin weighing 1.8 tons can accommodate 40 people and travels in 15 minutes (only 4 cabins follow the road). Steel ropes with a diameter of 46 millimeters carrying booths were produced in Austria.
Every day the cable car is inspected. The service staff of the rope is 120 people, and in the summer the number of employees increases by another 40.
