The small cable car is one of the most famous attractions of Yalta. It is located in the center of the resort city, the entrance is located next to the building of the hotel "Tavrida", and the upper station is on the hill of Darsan.
The small cable car, also known as “Yalta-Gorka”, of course, cannot be compared in size with the large cable car on Ai-Petri, but, nevertheless, it is good in its own way. Opened in 1967, the road has a length of 600 meters, the height difference is about 120 meters. Climbing the Small Cable Car of Yalta takes 12-15 minutes. The cabins are small, designed for 2 people and are in continuous motion, so when landing you need to jump on the go.
From the height there is a panoramic view of the old quarters, the embankment and water area of the port, the Armenian temple, etc. Upstairs there is a restaurant where you can eat, enjoying the picturesque views.
