Excursion-quest about how enterprising Yaroslavl residents have equipped the city
Description:
Many families, traveling with teenage children, puzzle over how to make a trip around the city exciting for everyone. Teenagers are the least likely to listen and watch. And adults do not mind becoming active participants in their journey! If you are a family or a large company with children of secondary school age (5-8 class), then this excursion is ideal for you, because it is mostly in the mode of performing tasks, in the form of a quest. However, this does not mean that your children will always move independently and uncontrollably around the city. The guide organizes the group during the transition from object to object, gives clear instructions when, what task to perform and always moves with the group, provides a dynamic pace of movement, observing the allotted time for the task. As the tasks are completed, the guide gives background information about the objects, which may contain the correct answer to the question from the task.
The quest begins from the Epiphany Gate of the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery and ends at the memorial sign "Zero kilometer of the Golden Ring of Russia", the route passes through the historical part of the city and covers all the most striking sights of Yaroslavl.
During the excursion-quest, participants will get an idea of Yaroslavl merchants, their role in shaping the image of the city and industrial potential, about patrons who contributed to the development of education in the city, about famous Yaroslavl citizens, about the ancient and modern city.
