Labor Day (Labor Day)

Children of RomaniaMay 1st is Labor Day. Before the 1990 revolution, 1 May in Romania was marked by demonstrations and demonstrations. There were festivals, concerts. But I must say that in Romania, this holiday was never so solemn as it was in the Soviet space.

The situation has not changed now. May 1 in Romania was and remains, first of all, a day off and a holiday of spring. Romania is not characterized by the so-called “mayivki” – celebrations with a trip to nature, despite the fact that the country is replete with beautiful natural protected places.
