Journey to the gates of Transylvania

Description:

As soon as you find yourself in Transylvania, the stunning views of the Carpathian Mountains come to the fore, medieval cities miraculously preserved in their original form, powerful fortresses and elegant palaces, as well as the real, not fictional, history of the country, in which there is a lot of curious things without fabulous vampires.

The city of Bran was founded before 1367. In 1378, a border castle-fortress was built, which was destined to become legendary. Built in the 14th century, Bran Castle is located on the top of a mountain, right on the border of Transylvania. In this castle there are many secret passages, loopholes, enclosed spaces that have not been used for a very long time.

The tour to Bran involves a visit to the four floors of the castle, where there are exhibitions associated with Queen Mary, King Ferdinand. The fortress was built by the knights of the Teutonic Order in 1215. The fortress stands on a high mountain, where the traveler will have to walk. But the climb is within the power of someone who wants to see a beautiful panorama that opens the feeling of flying over endless valleys and mountains. During its existence, the fortress was captured only once.

There is a legend associated with the inaccessibility of the fortress. But let's not reveal all the secrets... Excursion to the medieval city of Brasov (XII century). Located in the heart of Romania, Brasov is called the Romanian Salzburg. What comes in
