In the eastern part of Bangkok is the Temple of the Golden Mountain - Wat Saket. The building was built on an artificial hill. It is especially attractive for tourists because in the very center of the cathedral there is a particle of the ashes of the great Buddha, and the place itself is one of the symbols of Buddhism. The territory of the temple is quite extensive, it has domes that you can call, as well as the place is famous for its observation deck, which offers a wonderful view of the city.
Wat Saket has a convenient location, there are daily excursions, but you can visit the place yourself by bus.
