Monument to Phra Kruba Srivichai

The Phra Kruba Srivichai Monument is a place of worship and a popular local attraction located at Huay Kaew Falls.

Phra Kruba Srivichai is perhaps one of the most revered monks in Chiang Mai and a huge number of tourists and locals come here to pay their respects or ask for help in solving various problems.

The monument is located at the foot of the mountain, from which the road to the Doi Suthep temple begins. The construction of this road was completed by 1935, and now almost all visitors to the Doi Suthep temple can stop at the monument, buy flowers and lay them at the statue of the famous monk.

Not far from the statue there are special places where you can put a lit candle and ask the saint to help in case of a difficult situation.
