The Phu Ping Winter Royal Palace is located on Doi Suthep Mountain in Chiang Mai Province and serves as the palace of the King of Thailand.
The Winter Palace was built in the 60s of the last century, nowadays members of the royal family live in the palace during the winter holidays. From April to December, the palace is open for tourist excursions. The palace is surrounded by a huge exotic garden with rare plants and truly wonderful flowers.
You can get to the Phu Ping Winter Royal Palace as part of a tour group and independently by any city transport, as well as rented from local residents.
