River Kok

Description:

The Kok River is the longest and deepest river in Northern Thailand. It begins in Myanmar, flows through scenic places, some of which are nature reserves, and flows into the Mekong River in the “Golden Triangle”, the crossing point of the borders of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos. The border in this place is the river.

Kok connects the Thai provinces of Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai and is the most important route between them. That is why walks along the Kok River are so popular among tourists: following the river, you can watch the inhabitants of these places, stop a boat near the shore and continue traveling through the jungle or drive to the city to admire the ancient temples.
