Sai Yok National Park
Sai Yok, Kanchanaburi 71150, Thailand
Description:
Sai Yok National Park with an area of about five hundred square kilometers is one of the most beautiful places in Thailand.
These places have been reserved since 1969, when teak trees grew mainly on the territory. The National Park was founded later in 1980.
Currently, the vegetation of the park is diverse. Here you can find mixed forests, conifers, teak and bamboo trees.
The park crosses a mountain range, several peaks of which reach thousands of meters.
The park is famous for its caves and waterfalls. Kang Kao Cave attracts tourists with a large number of bats. Lava Cave is also a haven for bats, but its feature is that here you can see unusually beautiful stalactites and stalagmites.
Sai Yok Yai waterfall is characterized by a rather unusual natural structure, it is surrounded by a wonderful flora. It is truly considered one of the most picturesque places in Thailand.
The park is open all year round, but it is better to come here from November to February.
