Kaeng Lava Cave

Kaeng Lava Cave is the deepest in Kanchanaburi and one of the city’s famous landmarks.

Kaeng Lava Cave is located 75 kilometers from the center of Kanchanaburi. In order to get to Kaeng Lava Cave, you need to book a tour, or rent transport and get to it yourself. The cave is 500 meters deep, there are many bats inside Kaeng Lava, and multiple stalagmites and stalactites create a unique environment.

There are five rooms in the cave, all of them illuminated with small lamps and equipped with information plates. At the entrance to Kaeng Lava there is a statue of a large Buddha, where visitors like to make wishes and take pictures.
