Jeath War Museum

Ban Tai, Mueang Kanchanaburi, Kanchanaburi 71000, Thailand

About the company:

For history lovers, Kanchanaburi has a military museum called JEATH, under whose roof the history of the five countries is intertwined. The first letters of the names of these countries are an abbreviation from the name of the museum - Japan, England, America, Thailand, Holland. All exhibits of the JEATH Museum tell about the tragic events that took place in these lands during the Second World War.

JEATH is located on the territory of a Buddhist temple, whose monks are the founders and caretakers of the museum. Inside the museum are recreated barracks made of bamboo slats, which contained prisoners of war. Here are photos and illustrations that open the curtain on little-known pages of history. Among other things, the museum displays personal belongings of soldiers, fragments of weapons and even human remains.
