Krabi Noi, Mueang Krabi, Krabi 81,000, Thailand
Description:
The Tiger Temple (or Tiger Cave) is considered one of the most amazing and informative sights in Karbi. The building is open every day until dark, the entrance to the temple is free.
Judging by the legend, earlier on this land lived a tiger, which made a loud roar that spread far to the surrounding places. After the death of the tiger, the square was occupied by Buddhist monks who performed miracle meditations here.
Tourists will be invited to take a guided tour of the forest for meditation in the cave where the tiger once lived. Near the temple there is a Buddha statue and an observation deck. A large staircase leads to the viewing parking lot with 1,237 steps. On the way to the top, aggressive monkeys can be encountered, so be careful. From the height of the hill offers breathtaking views of the Tigris temple, the city of Krabi and its cliffs, Ao Nang beach and palm plantations.
