Phi Hua To Tham Cave

4203 Ao Nang, Mueang Krabi, Krabi 81,000, Thailand

Description:

In the Thai park Than Bok Khorani there is a picturesque place called Phi Hua To Tham cave. The cave is surrounded by water, so you can get here only by boat (the locals are engaged in excursions to the cave). Around the cave there is a picturesque mangrove forest.

Phi Hua To Tham Cave is divided into two parts. The left part is not too large and ends in a vast hall, where the sun's rays penetrate. The most interesting is the right part of the cave, the walls of which are decorated with drawings of ancient people. It was here that their remains with skulls much larger than standard sizes were discovered. This made a great impression on the locals, because the cave got its name, which translated into Russian means “Cave of big-headed ghosts”.
