Ao Nang Krabi Thai Boxing Stadium is a famous stadium that opened its doors to fans on January 21, 2000.

The date was not chosen by chance – this day was considered a happy day according to the Chinese calendar, so the grand opening of the stadium was a historic event in Krabi Province. Ao Nang Krabi Thai Boxing Stadium is the largest battleground in southern Thailand and the third largest stadium in the country. Frequently held battles at the stadium include Thai boxing, kickboxing and mixed martial arts.

Fighting at Ao Nang Stadium takes place twice a week and every Monday and Friday. At the Ao Nang Krabi Thai Boxing Stadium, teenagers often take part in combat, which is not prohibited by Thai law. Tickets for events are sold freely, in almost every hotel they can be ordered from administrators, as well as purchased at special ticket offices.
