Wat Phra Keo Don Tao Temple

Inside this temple is the emerald Buddha, in which he is considered a strong religious symbol. The temple itself is located in Phra Nakhon, the historical center of Bangkok, in the vicinity of the Royal Palace. The roof is decorated with attractive polished orange along with green slabs, and the pillars are interspersed with mosaics, and the pediments are made of expensive marble. The entrance of the temple is guarded by a pair of Yakshis, they are mystical giants 5 meters high.

The fastest option to get to it is a taxi, it can be reached in about 5-10 minutes depending on the position.
