Nana National Museum
Pha Kong Road, Nan, Thailand | Nai Wiang
About the company:
The Nana National Museum is housed in a 1903 building. In front of the entrance is a monument to the governor of the province of 1893-1918. This museum has a historical, archaeological and ethnological orientation.
The entire exposition is divided into 2 thematic parts: the second floor is devoted to exhibits related to the history and archaeology of the region, and the first one presents materials on ethnology.
At present, you can see ancient unique artifacts, demonstrating the development of arts and crafts in the city and province in different historical periods. Among the numerous exhibits, the most valuable products made of ivory deserve special attention. Anthropological information about the small Nan peoples and the northern peoples of the country is also interesting.
