Palio Shopping Center in Khao Yai
146/1 Moo.4, Thanarath Road (km.17), Pak Chong, Thailand
Description:
Palio Khao Yai is a shopping center created in the style of a small Italian village in Tuscany. The center is a two-hour drive from Bangkok, near Khao Yai National Park, among upscale residential complexes, organic Thai villages, dairy farms and vineyards.
On the territory of the "Italian village" there are more than 100 shops and restaurants scattered on the numerous streets running from the central square of Palio. A visit to this shopping center is reminiscent of a trip through an ancient European city with baroque ivy-covered buildings, a mandatory clock tower, a manicured garden and a replica of Bocca della Verita ("Mouth of Truth"). On the streets you can meet the heroes of old street Italian comedies in Venetian masks.
Shops greet visitors with traditional Thai souvenirs, and cafes and restaurants with soft drinks, which are so necessary in this subtropical country.
