Tal Noi Park
Thale Noi, Khuan Khanun, Phatthalung 93110 Thailand
Description:
Tal Noi Park is the first reserve in Thailand. This gem of the natural world is located in the south of the country in Phatthalung province.
The territory of the park exceeds 250 thousand hectares, which makes it a unique place for environmentalists from around the world. The surroundings of Lake Noi were recognized as a national treasure and became the first protected place in Thailand - hunting was officially banned here in 1971. Today, several international organizations monitor the observance of special treatment in the territory of Tal Noi, working to preserve the population of feathered inhabitants of southern Thailand.
In the thickets of bamboo lives a huge number of birds - herons, terns, storks, cormorants. The picturesque surroundings of the lake are especially expressive in the morning hours, when the dawn rises above the rocks and huge flocks of birds soar into the sky.
The surface of Lake Noah is covered with a real carpet of colorful lilies and white lotuses, also under state protection.
