Description:
Yushan National Park is a corner of virgin unspoiled nature, which includes a huge number of mountains about 3,000 meters high, including the famous Yushan Jasper Mountain, which is the highest peak in Northeast Asia. The area of the park is approximately 105,000 hectares, and the heights range from 300 to 3,950 meters, which is reflected in the diversity of animal and plant life.
Yushan National Park is one of the few habitats of large Taiwanese mammals, as it is almost untouched by the development of civilization. Here you can meet macaques, black bear and famous serows. The park has a relict forest, which has about 1,200 plant species, of which 55 are endangered.
