National Museum of Natural History

The Taichung National Museum of Natural History is one of Taiwan’s finest museums, along with the National Palace Museum in Taipei and the Science and Technology Museum in Kaohsiung. This is the most visited place in the city.

The museum includes a space science hall, a hall of human cultures, a botanical garden and a large hall. In total, there are 30 expositions, including many exhibits of various sciences, including paleontology, ecology, astronomy, as well as precious stones, minerals, tropical plants and objects belonging to the Taiwanese aborigines. The museum also holds special exhibitions where you can see other equally unique exhibits.
