The heart of Taipei. Historical kaleidoscope. In the capital of Taiwan
Description:
No one is surprised by the Chinese reality. Many have been to Greater Continental China (People’s Republic of China). Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou are giant cities, the starting Asian mega-centers of commerce, trade, recreation and entertainment. Many people go there for business and combine pleasant with useful. Sign contracts, attend excursions.
But not every Russian-speaking businessman or tourist can boast of at least one visit to the multimillion-dollar city of Taipei, the capital of the Republic of China in Taiwan. What modern developed capitalism looks like (the birthplace of Foxconn, TSMC, Asus, Acer, HTC, Evergreen) together with the dominant Chinese Taoist and Confucian traditions and principles (the official language of Taiwan: Chinese, but the hieroglyphics are purely traditional, the so-called “complex hieroglyphs, here is a bipartisan system”) and how it manifested in the history of the development of the capital city of Taipei you can see and feel in our auto-excursion. The city occupies a vast territory and in order to have time to show guests as much as possible in one day we use comfortable cars for movement during the tour (as a rule, the local brand Luxgen, which is also of great interest, especially for men, because this quality brand of cars is not familiar to many).
All our excursions are made on an individual schedule, but we usually visit:
Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Center and Freedom Square (ceremonial change of guard of honor), Taiwan Theatre and Concert Hall - The Presidential Office Building (Japanese period, Baroque) - Peace Park 228 (history and culture) - The oldest district of Taipei Wan Hua and Longshan Temple - a complex of temples and monuments Revolutinary Martyr's Shrine - The Grand Hotel Taipei (here stayed Richard Nixon Area, Mary Nelson's Tabo, 1010 modern cities)
Upon request, we make a visit to the Museum of the Imperial Palace (National Palace Museum, the 6th museum in the world by attendance, the history of 8 thousand years of civilization in China, 700,000 exhibits)
The car has WiFi and bottled water. In the course of our program, we can stop for a tasting of the famous Taiwanese teas (high-mountain oolong, baozhong, dundin).
