Tainan Municipal Baseball Stadium
Description:
Tainan Baseball Stadium is located in the southern part of Tainan City. It is mainly used for baseball games. Since 1990, it has been home to Taiwanese baseball team Uni-President Lions.
The stadium was built in 1931 on the site of a baseball field formed during the Japanese occupation. The stadium underwent a major modernization in the 70s, and in 1992 lights were installed there, after which the stadium was used at night. The stadium is currently owned by Uni-President 7-Eleven Lions, but is still owned by the Tainan government.
