Ceti Cave

11-9, 881, Xiyu Township, Penghu County, Taiwan

Description:

One of the many attractions of the Taiwanese resort of Xiui Tauship is the beautiful Keith Cave, which is part of the basalt cliff. Continuous waves and monsoons washed in the rock arch, which from the side of the nearby beach resembles a huge whale. Aborigines call this cave "alive", as in the evenings it hears a wild roar, created by gusts of wind. This phenomenon impresses many tourists who gather near the Cave of Whale in anticipation of a miracle.

Over time, over the arch, located at the entrance to the cave, also under the influence of wind and water formed two pillars, symbolizing the teeth of the whale. Local residents from time to time applied to the Cave of Ceti a lot of huge boulders, which are generally called the “garden of stones”. Thus, the joint efforts of man and nature formed an amazing decorative landscape, which takes first place on the covers of travel magazines and attracts tourists from all over the world.
