Port Nanliao

Nanliao Port is a coastal fishing port in the Mituo area.

Here every morning the local fishermen sell their fresh catch. The port is attractive for tourists not only in terms of buying fresh fish, but also as a bright example of national color. In the early morning, when there is a lively fish trade, it is as if you enter the Asian market, with fuss and noise. But as soon as the trade ends, the port turns into a quiet quiet place, where colorful fishing boats swing on the waves. And in the evening, when the heat subsides, tourists are offered to walk on a wooden boat to the local beach and relax in the pagoda located nearby.

In 2010, the port won the title of the most attractive fishing marina in Taiwan.
