The old town of Fenchihu is an interesting sight in Taiwan, where people, getting to Alishan, since ancient times stopped to relax, dine and enjoy the local beauty.
Previously, when the only way to get to Alishan was by rail, Fenchihu was the station’s largest and most important stop.
The city fascinates with its old streets with trains, shops and nature.
The old shopping street, which was badly damaged in a fire several years ago, has now been fully restored. It has beautiful houses and souvenir shops. There is also a huge variety of restaurants and cafes for every taste.
Today Fenchihu is a small picturesque town with many attractions.
