Kaleichi Suna Museum and Inan Kirach

The Kaleichi Suna and Inan Kirach Ethnographic Museum is located in two historic buildings in the Kaleichi district of Antalya. The main goal pursued by the creators of the museum is to familiarize people with the culture and lifestyle of the ancient Ottoman Turks.

Inside the first building of the museum, the traditional style was recreated, which was used during the Ottoman Sultanate. All his rooms contain expositions-staged events or ceremonies. For example, each visitor will be able to get acquainted with how the “Night of Henna” (Bride’s bachelorette party), coffee treats, “Groom’s haircut” and so on were held.

The second building is the Orthodox Church of St. George. It was rebuilt in 1893, as indicated by the inscription in Turkish, but made in Greek letters.
