Antalya Airport is located 10 kilometers east of the city center of Antalya. This is the main place of arrival of tourists to the resorts of Kemer, Lara, Kundu, Belek, Side, Alanya and others.
The airport in Antalya is large and modern, receiving almost 19 million passengers annually, including more than 16 million international passengers. This is one of the main airports located in the south-west of Turkey, the other major airports: Bodrum and Dalaman. There are two international terminals and one internal one inside the building.
The construction of the airport building was carried out for 2 years, and in 1998 it already received the first passengers. In July 2011, Antalya Airport was awarded the status of “Best Airport in Europe” according to the Airports Council International (ACI).
