Demre is called the pearl of Turkey. Here is a unique combination of picturesque landscapes and ancient buildings. In these places it is very easy to lose touch with the times and feel in the distant past of Turkey.
Complements the historical splendor of many sandy beaches and coves. Being on the beach is a pleasure. In Demre you can always find a place for privacy and really enjoy the sea. Some beaches are focused on tourists and offer everything for a comfortable stay, others allow you to plunge into complete silence.
The parking lot is located at an altitude of 10 m above sea level.

Day 2
The ancient city of Peace, the Amphitheatre, the Church of St. Nicholas.
This day of the trip is entirely dedicated to getting to know Demre and his past. It used to be the ancient city of Peace, the ruins of which we will visit today. On the northwestern side of the mountain framing the city are ancient, Lycian tombs. This is an unusual wall with a height of more than 200 meters, consisting of huge, stone blocks on which ancient burials are located.
Another valuable building of the ancient city is the amphitheater. This huge building dates back to the 4th century AD. The amphitheater was repeatedly subjected to the destructive effects of the elements, but each time it was rebuilt.
We will also visit one of the treasures of the city – the Church of St. Nicholas. This is a valuable Christian monument, which received its name in honor of Nicholas the Wonderworker. According to ancient scriptures, it was on the territory of modern Demre that the saint secretly brought gifts to children for Christmas. The sarcophagus is kept in the church, which still contains part of the relics of the saint.
The active part of the route: 13.5 km, the height difference of 10-180 m, the duration of the route is 6-7 hours.

Today we will go to the Bay of Andriake, where once there was a granary of Adrian. This place was important not only for Mira, but for the whole of Rome. The ruins of the building still stand here – today they house the Museum of the Lycian Kingdom, which contains the most interesting finds from all over the city. In the museum you will learn about all the historical periods of life of this country.
The rest of the day will be a boat ride. As part of a water trip, we will visit the island of Kekova and get acquainted with its history. We have to come into contact with the fascinating secrets of the ancient worlds, because it is here that several ancient cities are buried at once. The coastal waters of Kekov hide the cities of Simena, Teimussa, Dolichiste and Aperlaia.
Due to the special purity of the water, we can consider the jugs, amphorae and other household items lying at the bottom. After exploring the island from all sides, we will go back to the shore.

Having settled in a new campground, we go for a walk in the ancient city of Olympos. Scientists suggest that Olympos was founded by pirates in the 3rd century BC. Pirates really liked the picturesque bay on the Mediterranean coast, and they founded a city here. The city developed rapidly and soon its inhabitants had their own coins and their own writing system. Now the city is a huge complex of ancient ruins with temples, a theater, a Roman gate and a fortress. Let’s walk around the city, touch its history!
Active part of the route: 4.1 km, height difference of 10-40 m, the duration of the route 3-4 hours.

Day 5
The fabulous beaches of Chirali, the lights of Chimera.
What to hide, Chirali is one of the most amazing places on the route. Azure sea, wonderful bays! These places are loved not only by tourists: at night, sea turtles swim to this bay to lay eggs.
Today, our goal is the magic lights of the Chimera. This is an amazing sight that defies description: from the ground here and there burst pillars of flame. Their location is constantly changing, so it is quite difficult to predict where the fire will break out next time.
You can watch this mystical action all year round. Despite its phantasmagoric nature, the phenomenon is quite natural: natural gas escapes and ignites from the ground. But even knowing what is really happening, it is difficult to perceive what is happening and not be amazed by strange lights appearing out of nowhere. Do not believe, it is so great to fry sausages in the evening or air marshmallow =)
Active part of the route: 10.2 km, height difference of 10-70 m, route duration of 6-7 hours.

Day 6
Tekirov's wild bays
On this day we will explore the new bays of the Mediterranean Sea. A little distance from camping, you begin to realize that you have moved to a completely different world. Amazing purity blue water allows you to see its deep inhabitants, and the sea air caresses the lungs and melts a salty taste in the throat. We are sure to swim in the crystal clear water and sit alone with nature, admiring the wild places.
Active part of the route: 12.6 km, height difference of 10-80 m, route duration of 6-7 hours.

Day 7
Mount Musadagh
It’s time to look at the picturesque surroundings of Chirala from a bird’s eye view! On this day, we will climb Mount Musadagh to truly feel ourselves in the mountains of Turkey and take incredibly picturesque photos of azure bays.
The active part of the route: 13.7 km, the height difference of 20-770 m, the duration of the route is 6-7 hours.

Day 8
Heinuk Canyon.
In the morning, we gather a tent camp and take the bus to Antalya. On the way, we will stop in the village of Heinyuk to put a bright, final chord on our trip!
On the final day of the tour, we will go to another natural attraction - Heinuk Canyon. It is a long, deep gorge, up to 350 meters high and 14 kilometers long. At the bottom of the canyon there is an emerald river, the depth of which in some places exceeds the mark of 6 meters. The canyon pleases tourists with picturesque lagoons and huge, stone debris.
To see the most beautiful corners of the gorge, we have a fascinating canyoning. At the entrance to the canyon we rent wetsuits - and go! We have to go through a very picturesque route, overcoming water obstacles.
The amazing beauty of the canyon will open right before our eyes: waterfalls of different heights are woven into an indescribable picture, and lush, green vegetation hangs from the walls of the gorge. Add charm walls painted in different colors. A cursory look at the opened landscape is enough to realize that the reward is worthy of the path traveled.
Active part of the route: 3.4 km, height difference of 10-70 m, the duration of the route 3-4 hours.
