St. Peter's Castle

St. Peter’s Castle, located in a picturesque Turkish town called Bodrum, is one of the brightest historical sites in the whole country. This building is essentially a medieval fortress. According to historical data, the time of its construction refers to the 15th century.

It is noteworthy that the castle was built on the site where once stood the so-called wonder of the world - the mausoleum of Mausolus. The latter was destroyed by natural elements about 100 years before the construction of the castle.

Finding the fortress is not difficult, the city has many signs, as well as tourist routes to it.
