The Dolmabahce clock tower is located near the "Gate of Treasure" of the Dolmabahce palace complex. Established in 1895 by order of Sultan Abdulhamid II. The size of the tower in height is 27 m. The clock systems were designed by French watchmaker Jean-Paul Garnier.
Quite extravagant structure consists of four levels, richly decorated with stucco, columns, reliefs. After the restoration, the tower looks bright and impressive. A wonderful entrance attraction before the entrance to the Palace itself. It looks the most beautiful from the Bosphorus. Wide beautiful square, interesting appearance.
It is located near the “Treasure Gate”. In front of the tower are dancing fountains, and on Tuesdays there is a lively bazaar. You can get by bus to the central intercity bus station, which is nearby.
