Mount Sipil

Recently, Turkey attracts tourists not only by beaches and the sea, but also by rocky places. Not far from the city of Izmir (only 5 km) is Mount Sipil, Mount Sipil is a place for pilgrimage of residents. Many women come here with gifts and ask the mountain to protect their children from death. There is a legend that a woman lived here with her sons. Apollo killed them. The woman cursed him and then turned into a rock that was named after her youngest son. The mountain has bizarre shapes and curves. It was broken by the earthquake into separate parts-cliffs. You can get to the mountain by bus or taxi.
