Konak Square

Konak Square is the heart of Izmir, the place where acquaintance with the city begins and where all meetings take place. The square is always crowded, which is facilitated by the nearby bus station and pier. The square is decorated in medieval style, in its center there is a small but very beautiful Yala mosque. The square itself is small, so it is very cozy to be on it. In recent years, the nearest streets have been reconstructed, and you can have a good time here in summer and winter. You can get to Konak Square by metro: the station of the same name is only 50 meters away, and from the other side you can get by ferry.
