Agora in Izmir

The Agora of Smyrna, located in the Turkish city of Izmir, is an open-air history museum. Before the eyes of history lovers appear the ruins of the ancient city of Smyrna (built by the Romans).

Just a few decades ago, archaeologists discovered the remains of ancient structures. The museum, consisting of ground and underground parts, presents ancient sculptures, monuments and monuments.

The museum is located in the center of Izmir, near the park "Agora", across the road Kemeralti market.
