Olympos National Park - Beidaglary
Description:
Not far from the Turkish resort of Kemer and 25 kilometers from Antalya is a national park called Bedaglary. The long and narrow plain of its territory stretches between Cape Reis to Akyar. In the eastern territory of the park, the mountains descend to the sea, thus forming rocky cliffs. In this park is the famous Beldibi Cave. It's 16 kilometers from Kemer. It attracts visitors with rock paintings and a beautiful waterfall.
Visiting the cave causes increased interest among tourists. Beldibi Cave is located at the foot of the sandy mountains extending into the sea. This historical value consists of two parts. According to historians, this place was used in the Paleolithic, and the most beautiful places in the cave appeared during the Mesolithic. The historical artifact was found before the excavations in 1956 by E. Bostanzhi, and the excavations began here three years later.
