Chirali Beach
Description:
On the Mediterranean coast there is a small village of Chirali, famous for its magnificent beach and calm atmosphere. The three-kilometer beach is protected by the World Wildlife Fund.
The infrastructure around the village is well developed: you can stay in one of the small hotels, sit in a coastal cafe and taste local cuisine. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to admire the reddish mountains and slender pines surrounding the village.
If you are interested not only in the beach holiday, but also in the cultural program, then you can visit the ruins of the ancient city of Olympos, where the ruins of the Pirate Fortress, temple complexes and some houses are preserved. In twenty minutes you can reach a mountain called Chimera. Tradition says that a monster was killed here, which still spews flames. Although, of course, the situation is in burning methane sources.
