Description:
Khiva is rich in various historical fortresses or mosques. One of the most recognizable and at the same time one of the oldest fortresses of the city can be called the fortress of Kunya-Ark.
This building was built in the distant 17th century. At the moment it is the oldest residence that has survived to this day. Naturally, we are talking about the residence belonging to the Khiva khans.
You can get to the fortress by guide, or by tourist program. It is very popular among travelers, as can be evidenced by a large cluster near this historical site.
