We are going from Samarkand to Shakhrisabz

The trip to Shakhrisabz will take about 2 hours. On the way you will observe the leisurely life of villagers using donkeys instead of transport. And we will also stop at the bazaar in the mountains, where local products are sold - herbs, spices, mountain tea, honey and much more.

Route points:

• cave-grotto Teshik-Tash, where the film “Apache” was filmed
• Cafe "Katta-Tash" on the pass: you will try the native mountain dish tandyr-gusht and get acquainted with the interesting technology of cooking one of the gastronomic symbols of Uzbekistan (tandir meat is very high-calorie - perhaps you will have enough light breakfast before the tour)
• historical center of Shakhrisabz, where unique architecture has been preserved
• memorial complex "Dorus Saodat" with the mausoleum of Jahongir and Omar Sheikh (late 14th century) and the mosque of Khazri Imam (14th century)
• complex "Dorut-Tilovat" (14-15 centuries) with the tomb of the Timurids and the mosque Kok-Gumbaz
• Ak-Saray Palace - ruins of the residence of Amir Timur (Tamerlane)
