Description:

Zaaminsky National Nature Park is located in the Jizzakh region of Uzbekistan on the territory of 24 thousand hectares. Unlike the nearby Zaaminsky Mountain Arch Reserve, the national park is accessible to tourists and vacationers.

There is also a sanatorium of the same name in the park. From the nearest city - Zaamina, after which it was named, the park is separated by 25 kilometers. The eastern part of the park is located on the border of Uzbekistan with the Republic of Tajikistan. The park was founded in 1976 as a sports and health complex and winter sports center.

Today, the park is very popular among locals, tourists and travelers. Clean air and unique natural views attract a large number of visitors here. Here you can take a course of rehabilitation in the sanatorium, and set up a tent in one of the campsites. One of the attractions of the park is the walnut tree, which according to legend is more than 700 years old.
