The former house of Sadriddin Aini is located in the old center of Samarkand. It became a haven of the writer since 1917, when the writer was hiding from repression by the Emir of Bukhara. In general, Sadriddin Aini spent about 35 years in the house, alternately living in the old and new buildings.

In the house-museum there are two working rooms of Sadriddin Aini. It was here that works were created that brought a meter of Uzbek literature world fame – “Odina”, “Old School”, “Slaves”, “Death of the usurer”, “The Rise of Mukanna”, “Yatim”.
