Festival of Traditional Culture "Asrlar Sadosi" ("Echo of Centuries") - an event covering all the diversity of folk traditions and customs, applied arts, national cuisine, unique oral and intangible heritage of Uzbekistan, every year opens up new places of our country, rich in its centuries-old history.

Since 2009, the Asrlar Sadosi Festival of Traditional Culture has been held in cooperation with UNESCO. In 2010, the Festival was held in Khiva, on the territory of the historical monument of Ichan-Kala, in 2011 - in Bukhara. In 2012, the Festival of Traditional Culture “Asrlar Sadosi” was held in Ellikkala district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, on the territory of the ancient fortress of Tuprak-kala. In 2013, the Festival of Traditional Culture “Asrlar Sadosi” was held near the Sarmyshsai tract in Navoi region.

Every year the festival gathers more than a thousand participants: folklore groups, artisans, athletes, musicians, cooks and tens of thousands of spectators - tourists and residents of Uzbekistan. As a rule, the festival is held in spring and lasts two weekends, during which there are mass costumed folk festivals with songs, dances, folk games and competitions, which are arranged in the open air. These days, the streets of the city turn into a huge oriental bazaar, where you can buy silk fabrics, luxurious carpets, fragrant spices, patterned ceramics. The most pleasant things at the festival you can taste national Uzbek dishes: golden pilaf, juicy kebabs, melting samsu in the mouth and, of course, Uzbek bread - ruddy and crispy tortillas.

Everyone can take part in seminars and master classes on culture, environmental problems, development of national art. The organizers also hold round tables to which experts, scientists and international guests are invited.

The completion of the festival on the second day is accompanied by the final gala concert of folk music, where creative groups from all regions of the republic perform.
