I will tell the story of the square and its significance, and then we will go to the main square of the capital and the memorial complex “Courage”, erected in memory of the earthquake of 1966. During the walk you will enjoy the magnificent buildings of the end of the XIX century: old gymnasiums, the hotel "Uzbekistan", reminiscent of the architecture of the open book. You will see the Tashkent chimes and the monument to the national hero, whose personality I will tell in detail during the tour.

Memorial

The next stop will be the Shahidlar Hothorasi Remembrance Complex. We will talk about the dark pages of Uzbekistan’s history – Stalin’s repressions and arrests – and see the shore of the Bozsu Canal – the last thing thousands of people saw before their deaths. You will be able to make a promenade around the museum and rotunda park, admire the ensemble and weeping willows and honor the memory of the dead.

Oriental cuisine in the middle of the tour provides time for lunch. I will take you to the “Plov Center” – a modern teahouse, where traditional types of legendary dishes are brewed in large pots, and the menu is replete with a variety of oriental salads.

Old town.

Then you will find yourself in the old part of Tashkent near the historical and architectural complex of Khozrati Imom. Within the walls of the Madrasah there is a unique folio Koran of Usman of the VII century, written on thin sheets of deer skin. After exploring this and other relics, we will walk through the narrow streets of the old city. I will tell about the rituals and customs of the locals and show the ancient Oriental bazaar Chor-su, where you can please yourself with the best sweets, fresh fruits and delicious pastries.
