Tashkent

Japanese garden

Description:

On the territory of the Republican Trade and Exhibition Center "Uzexpocentre" on the joint initiative of the Embassy of Japan in Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a Japanese Garden was created in Tashkent. Its opening took place on 25 August 2001. From Japan, the companies Mitsui and Ko and Shimizu participated in the construction of the park.

To understand the beauty of the Japanese garden, you need to plunge into the depth of the worldview of the Japanese, feel the spirit and originality of Japanese culture. It is necessary to understand the philosophy, value system, and way of thinking of another people. Here is Sekitei - a garden of stones, which by its abstraction reflects the beauty of nature.

The Japanese park is divided into two gardens by the wooden wall of Tsuijibei: Chisenkaia (flowering glades, with a stream and ponds) and Karesansui (in which only stones and trees are located). The main elements of any Japanese garden are stones and an old lake. In spring, on the banks of the pond, according to the plan of landscape painters, sakura, a sacred tree in Japan, should bloom.

The design of the garden is quite modest, it is done so that people who are here feel calm and peace. The garden is decorated with paper lanterns, the lights of which create a special atmosphere of balance.
