Monument of Independence and Humanism

The monument of independence and humanism of Uzbekistan is located in the heart of Tashkent on Independence Square (Mustaqillik). It contains two architectural monuments.

The first Independence Monument is a metal ball installed on a granite pedestal with a relief ornament of the borders of Uzbekistan. It symbolizes the beginning of the new state of Uzbekistan. The monument of the Happy Mother is an image of the country and a symbol of its future.

You can get to the monument in two ways: by subway or bus. The stations have the same name "Mustakillik Maidoni".
