About the company:

The Tashkent Armed Forces Museum was founded in 1965. The rich and extensive exposition of the museum displays the history of the development of military art of the peoples of Central Asia and Uzbekistan, as well as the history of the Armed Forces of the modern period of the country.

The most colorful exposition, containing valuable items found at archaeological excavations, is considered “Military art of the Temurid era” – the era of the great commander and emperor Amir Temur. There is a diorama of the battle of 1395 Temur against Khan Tokhtamysh, and numerous exhibits include military maps, strategic plans, weapons and equipment, troop building schemes and much more.

The exposition dedicated to the participation of Uzbekistan in the Great Patriotic War is also considered interesting. The museum is located on the territory of the Battle Glory Park "Zhasorat", opened in 1975. Here are samples of various military equipment - tanks, combat vehicles, missiles and guns, and even aircraft. In 2010, the monument “Oath to the Motherland” was opened in the park.
