About the company:

The Museum of Healthcare named after K.S. Zairov is the main monument of the development of medicine in the region. It was opened in 1973 in order to popularize a healthy lifestyle among the population by Professor Mikhail Yakovlevich Yarovinsky, working at the Department of History of Medicine and Cultural Studies at the Moscow Medical Academy named after I.M. Sechenov.

The Health Museum's collection includes about 12,000 exhibits, which are housed in six departments. Here you can see graphics, sculptures, archaeological finds, photographs, documents that are designed to shed light on the history of the formation of medicine from the beginning of the development of civilization to the present day. Particularly popular is the collection of historical surgical instruments recreated by the master G. Izmestyev, according to the descriptions of Avicenna, as well as dummy venereology and a human model made entirely of glass. The latter was brought from Dresden in 1973, for the opening of the Museum.
