About the company:

The York Textile Museum and Gallery is the first museum in the UK dedicated to the history and modernity of textile art, as well as the making of quilts. It was opened in 2008 and is run by the educational charity Quilters, founded in 1979 in the British Isles.

The museum is located in the gardens of the St. Antonia complex - a building of the XV century, where meetings of medieval organizations of the city of York took place. The museum contributes in every way to the preservation of the cultural heritage of the country and has a rich collection of textile products, from the time of the founding of the Quilters Guild to the works of modern masters.

Fabulous fabrics, colors, drawings and unique applications will tell you the history of more than one generation of Englishmen, as well as allow you to understand the art of modern textiles of the British Isles.
