Clotilde Palaces
Description:
There are not many palaces in Hungary, which, despite their solid age, have survived in their original form. One of them is the Clotilde Palace. It was built in the early XX century of red brick and is located in the center of Budapest. Built in the neo-Gothic style using Gothic and Renaissance motifs, it combines elements of Eastern and Western architecture. The complex is surrounded by a park area, which is one of the centers of cultural life in Budapest.
To get to the palace, you first need to walk to Heroes Square with two fountains located on it (the second fountain is one of the largest in Europe), and then leave the park to Vaci Street. That's where the palace is. Another interesting point is that the building is located on a small elevation and from its windows offers a wonderful view of the whole city. The palace has several floors, each of which has four guest rooms.
