The Royal Palace, 1014 Budapest, Szent Gyorgy t r 2, Hungary
Description:
One of the best creations of the sculptor Miklos Ligeti is the statue of Tünde, which is located in Budapest, Hungary. The idea of the sculptor drew from the play-fairy tale “Chongor and Tundre”, written by the Hungarian writer Mihai Vöröshmarti. The play describes the adventures of a brave young man Chongor, who tries to find happiness, which is personified by the beloved fairy Tundre. For Hungarians, this statue is a symbol of happiness.
To find the statue, you need to go to the city center, to the Royal Palace, at St. George Square, 2. Next, you will have to climb the hill on foot or on a funicular.
