Fertöd Castle or Esterhazi is one of the largest and most luxurious palaces in Hungary. It got its name from the town of Fertød, where it is located. It is called Esterhazi thanks to the well-known family of nobles Esterhazi, who long owned it. Now there is a hotel in the palace, excursions are regularly held. Also once a year, tourists can visit the International Josef Haydn Festival.

- by train to Sopron with a transfer (2.5 h) and by bus to the castle (40 m)
- by train to Gyor (1.5 hours) and by bus (1.5 hours)
